Southern Maine B&B Gift Certificates
A Gift Certificate from the Inn at Tanglewood Hall makes a wonderful holiday, wedding, anniversary, or birthday present. Gift certificates are also a great way to express your gratitude towards that special employee. Gift certificates may be purchased with a credit card by phone or online by clicking the icon below. Be sure to note how you wish the TO and FROM sections to appear.
We require a one night’s stay or 50% deposit (whichever is larger) for each room to be processed at the time the reservation is made. This deposit shall apply to your last night(s) stay. Gift Certificates may not be used as deposits. The balance is due upon your arrival at Check-in. Late Arrivals (after 6PM) will be charged the balance due on that day to the credit card on file. Group reservations of three rooms or more require a non-refundable balance to be paid in full within 14 days of the reservation.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Cash. Prices are subject to Maine Lodging Tax of 9%. Gift Certificates are also available for lodging redemptions only, unless otherwise specified previously. We do not participate in the optional Bed and Breakfast.com Gift Card program.
We will make every effort to provide a fair solution, but we are just a small B&B so cancellations affect us dramatically. When we guarantee an accommodation we enter into a contract and lose the opportunity to reserve the room for others who wish to stay with us. Unlike most Bed and Breakfasts, if circumstances for a cancellation are deemed warranted, a Courtesy Voucher may be issued for a future stay at the Innkeeper’s discretion depending upon seasonal availability. Otherwise: Notice given 14 days (or more) prior to a room reservation will receive a full refund less a $25.00 credit card handling fee for each room cancelled. Cancellations within the 14-day period will incur a loss of deposit. Last minute cancellations or changes (within 5 days of the reservation) will result in a charge for the entire reserved stay unless we are able to rerent the room. We will try our best to do so and will prorate refunds accordingly or issue a Courtesy Voucher. Please consider purchasing travel insurance.

Twelve and over preferred. We offer a quiet peaceful retreat for all of our guests. We have been honored to host many wonderful kids here. However, we do ask all parents to thoughtfully evaluate their children’s personal supervisionary needs before considering this inn. It is not child-proofed for their safety and there are many fragile collections and antiques throughout the inn.
We do not accept pets. However we do know a lovely caretaker who will board your dog for a reasonable fee.
Registered Guests Only
Due to the intimacy of the inn and overall security, only Registered Guests are allowed in our home unless prior permission has been obtained.
No Smoking or Candles
All rooms are non-smoking in ordinance with Maine State law. Smoking is permitted only in outside areas 20 feet from any building per Maine State law, a $500 charge will be charged to your card on file for smoking in our rooms or on porches. Due to fire and insurance codes the burning of candles is also prohibited for the safety of all. No incense for obvious reasons.
Our 1880s circular driveway offers limited parking to accommodate our six rooms. If you plan to drive more than one vehicle, please notify us ahead of time.
