York Historical Society
Decorator Show House and home to Chicago lumber baron and Hamilton
College trustee, Alexander Coburn Soper and his wife Mollie Eliza Pope
for its first fifty years, The Inn at Tanglewood Hall is a casually
elegant summer estate of yesteryear, nestled along the beautiful
coastline of southern Maine. Set amidst lush woodlands, colorful
gardens, and whimsical fountains, it offers a quiet oasis in the heart
of quaint York Harbor. The inn features rooms that have been custom
decorated, individually designed, and furnished with luxurious high-end
pima cotton sheets, fluffy down blankets, and eurofeather pillows,
